Parliament

Széchenyi Thermal Baths

Skipping a visit to thermal baths in Budapest would be a great mistake. Széchenyi Thermal baths is the most famous complex in Budapest. It was built in 1913 and it is the largest one in Europe. Apart from taking nice shots for your Instagram you will also enjoy hot springs, outdoor pools, saunas and spa treatments offered by Széchenyi. Citadella Viewpoint

Climbing up one of Budapest’s best viewpoints – Citadella a top of the Gellert hill- is a must. The place offers scenic sights where you can admire the beauty of the city from bird’s eye view. There you can find two spots with breathtaking panoramas every photographer would kill for.  It is also a great place to hang out in spring and summer. You might even consider taking some snacks or drinks to have a lunch after a long walk up the hill.

St. Stephen’s Basilica

St. Stephen’s Basilica is one of the oldest and biggest churches in Hungary. It is 96 meters high being the tallest building in Budapest alongside with the Parliament. It looks great from every angle and will definitely get lots of likes in your Instagram feed. Vajdahunyad castle

It is undoubtedly the most romantic castle in Budapest located right behind Heroes Square in the City Park. The castle is a mixture of various styles as it was built as a representation of 1000 years of Hungarian architecture for millennium celebrations. Vajdahunyad castle is absolutely worth visiting as it also hosts music festivals, fairs and events. In winter time you will find a large open air skating rink right next to the castle, while in summer it is a lake perfect for boating.
